Gus and his Rattle

He loves rattles!  But only if someone else is shaking it.  He gets frustrated if you give it to him, I think maybe b/c he can't make the same noise himself.  Either way, its pretty funny how excited he gets when he hears a rattle!

We also stayed in a cabin on a lake for a wee before Mason started teaching and our house was ready.  It was a beautiful view!

The move to Minnesota!

So we are finally in our home in Grand Rapids, Minnesota!  Along the way we stayed at Mason's parents for a few weeks.  Here are some photos of Gus while we were there!  He got one of those door bouncers, which he loves!  There will be a video of that to follow.  

Bathtime!

Can you tell its bedtime?  He was falling asleep in the tub!  We got our first full night of sleep, but I don't know if the vaccines were to blame.  He was 15 lbs 11 oz at his checkup, and he's only 10 weeks old!  

Trip to Minnesota!

The trip was a success, Mason got his job at Itasca Community College teaching engineering courses!

Took Gus to Tennessee to visit the family, notice his cousin Irisa who is 9 weeks older than him!  He is such a chunk!  Gavin also lost his first tooth!

First Playdate!

Since I had to go back to work Friday, my friend Jessica watched Gus.  She also just had a baby, Charly is just 8 days younger than Gus!  This is their first playdate so they are a little shy.

He is really getting quite the personality!

6/20 - 23.5 inches long!

Gus measured in at 23.5 inches today, and last Friday he weighed 12 lbs 2 oz.  The boy is growing like crazy!!
